I didn’t know you made this much of an impact in my life. I have always considered you as one of my closest friend, someone I admire and respect. Not a single tear ran down my cheek the last few days you were here, I was upset don’t get me wrong!! But I have somehow became immune to any kind of pain that interacts with my body and soul.

Here I am sitting at work, looking at photos of us, reading your blog – oh how I am envious on the way you could write and touch someone’s soul with your words. I felt my body weaken, am I going to cry? I look straight out the window, the weather has totally changed from when you were here. The Angels are crying with us all now that you’ve left, our lives would change now that you’re not with us. I have seen the pain the other girls experienced and I know for a fact they will never get over this moment, you will always be in their hearts.

I am writing this because I am starting to feel how the other girls are feeling, maybe I tried to block it out when it was happening as you know I have always been afraid to feel any emotions that could somehow make me seem vulnerable or break me. But before I let this go too far and brush it off again, and while I am still feeling a little emotional I will post this as a sign of how much I value our friendship and I want you to know that you will always be missed!!!

Girl, I am so proud of you, proud of what you have encountered and proud of what you will achieve from this journey of yours. You have touched our hearts in one way or the other. We will re-unite once again, distance and time are just another bumpy road, our friendships are real and that’s all that matters…

P.S. I’ll be rooting for you until the very end, we’ll be here no matter what happens.

Casual Urban Outfit…

I’m loving my Combat Boots at the moment, and new Mimco sunnies. However, I was a bit hesitant to wear my see-through top but I’m glad I did as it matched the rest of my outfit.

Asos…

I’ve recently bought a dress online from Asos (www.asos.com). At first I was a bit iffy about it since I don’t really shop online and the one time I bought a jacket from another online site turned out differently than what I expected. However, I was glad to have picked out the right size from Asos and the dress turned out looking great on me as I received compliments from a few of my friends. Here are some pictures of the dress I’ve purchased.

P.S. Asos is a good site to do online shopping, it’s cheap, delivery is FREE and they’re pretty quick!

We all know I have a shopping problem, but these pair of Mimco sunnies were on SALE, and it suited my face just FINE :D so of course I had to get it <3

Another Great Long Weekend…

Labour Long Weekend has just passed, like always it felt short and quick. As human beings I think you’d agree when I say we’ll always feel that a ‘free’ day off is never enough, the body and soul will just keep wanting more.

Saturday was a special day for me - when life goes on, people move on and time does not stop for a second for you, everything in life seems like a shooting star – all you have to do is blink, and it’d be gone by the time you open your eyes to the world again – we need to cherish every moment especially those special ones. That being said, Saturday was girls day out with 3 of my lovely ladies – having gone to a salon to get our hair done, walking and shopping around Sydney’s QVB and new City Westfield, and having hightea at Swissotel, the day couldn’t have been any better.

However, a couple of us that did not know a special news was coming had a shocking reaction over lunch. One of the special girls in my life will be experiencing a life-changing moment. I knew that she had applied for a job role overseas and she had gotten a second interview with the company, in the back of my mind I somehow knew she’d get it – knowing the person she is, nothing can stop her from achieving her dreams. But when the day came and she told us the good news, we all somehow felt lost and upset. Don’t get me wrong we were HAPPY and EXCITED for her, but having to feel like you are ‘losing’ a close friend is never a good feeling. In a sense I know we are not losing her as a close friend, but you can’t help but think there’s the seven seas separating us from each other. Putting all the sadness aside, I wish her the best of all luck the world could offer and that she’ll succeed in this special journey. She will be truly missed by all <3

The rest of my weekend was spent with great company. After a great day with the girls, at night my other half, his brother, brother’s gf and myself headed out to Surry Hills, Sydney for a fulfilling dinner at the ‘Food Society’. The food were great and I’d recommend this restaurant  to anyone.

Also, I’d recommend ordering the ’Potato dumplings with slow cooked oxtail, roasted pearl onions, cavelo nero and red wine jus – this was delicious’. Thanks for a great night out

 

We didn’t do anything major on Saturday night because my other half, his brother and I had organised a trip to Canberra to visit their nan and aunt. His family is somehow very family oriented, which is different to mine – so I’ve always enjoyed the family outings I attend with his family. I am also glad to say Nan was looking great and happy, a trooper she is!

 

For any of you who follow the NRL, then you would’ve somehow watched or heard the Grand Final on Sunday between Manly and the Warriors – because of this the boys have decided to leave Canberra early afternoon to make it back to a friend’s place in Sydney to watch the game and a get-together with friends. To be honest, I hardly know anything about football so that didn’t interest me at all, but I do enjoy a game of poker here and there which I knew was going to happen after the footy. It took a long 4 hours for this poker game to finish, but it was well worth it since I won the game in the end.

 

Last but not least, public holiday Monday – spent enjoyably with my other half. We had decided to go City for lunch, yet we always have trouble choosing a place to eat. I searched on Google for nice places for lunch and at first we had decided on a noodle restaurant, but while walking there we walked past Chefs Gallery, on the corner of George Street and decided to try eat there instead. The food was lovely, it had a nice Chinese-Asian flavoured to it and I would go back there again.
Seared scallops served with a garlic and oil free vinaigratte dressing,
Fluffy Chinese roti with egg, shallot and onion,
Tataki Wagyu beef with a Sichuan style spicy dressing,
Prawn and pork wontons in a Shanghainese style spicy sauce,
Mixed seafood fritters with wasabi sauce on top.

I am Titanium…

I am currently sitting in front of the computer at my new job. I’m finally back into the workforce after 3 jobless week – not that I’m complaining, it was a good relaxing break. The last 3 days at work we have been doing online assessments, and am now waiting for approval to get into all softwares needed – until then I am unable to do any work, hence why I’m writing this post.

It is totally different to what I have done previously, I am totally out of the accounting world now. Have been watching and ‘learning’ what I will be doing for work and let me just say I am COMPLETELY LOST! There there, all in time I will master it!
